Terreal brick slips and corner slips combine perfectly with the other materials. The contrasts of materials produced by their association with stainless steel and wood are especially interesting. From the smoothest to the roughest, the combination appeals both to the eye and to the touch. Originally required so that the building would respect the pink Town’s tradition (Toulouse city), the terracotta here takes on another dimension. The question of whether terracotta is a contemporary support does not arise. This material has been used by man for 5,000 years. It is beyond fashions and trends.
