TERREAL España operates from four sites, each of which produces a different range of products.

  • La Pera, north of Barcelona, produces partitions and ceiling panels.
  • La Pobla, near Valencia, makes Grand Moules du Sud (GMS) roofing tiles.
  • Cabezón on the Atlantic coast makes facing bricks and glazed bricks.
  • Virgen, close to Cabezón, makes top-quality Canal roof tiles.

TERREAL España also sells roof tiles and cladding made at the Group's French sites. Such sales account for around 40% of the Spanish company's business (as of 2010).

Key dates

1973: Founded

June 2002: Name changed from Cerámicas del Ter to TERREAL España.

2006: Acquisition of Cerámica de Cabezón SA, operator of the Cabezón and Virgen sites.
