For this year (2018), We wanted to bring the romantic charm of a “pitched roof cocoon” or others might call it the “barn house” design to our booth. This was a great opportunity to show that our flat roof tiles could be installed on walls as an alternative to façade.
This roof-wall bardage types of coverage on Malaysian residential roofs are not common but trending rapidly with positive reviews from developers, architects and homeowners. One of these housing developments was done by the use of our Terreal Zen tile series, The ZEN 88. The ZEN 88 is a maiden residential development comprising of 88 units of linked semidetached houses, semidetached houses and bungalows.
It was truly a great opportunity to showcase our Zen tiles on the ZEN 88 project on archidex 2018. This is why, we have built a booth that brings out the ambience and aesthetics of the ZEN 88 project. 4 individual panels consisting of 1 façade element, and 3 roofing element covers our booth of 18sqm. Under the panels, we have demonstrated the use of our coolmax thermal insulation system and also displayed how our tiles are being laid and installed on the battens.
On the side wall, we have the roofing components wall. A big sticker of a 3D modeled “Terreal House” that displays every product we have to offer, and actual fittings and components hung around it for better visual effects.
The Back wall is 90% tiled up with our Romane evo tiles in different shades of complimenting colours to create a gradient pixel effect, that comes to life with 4 warm lighting chandeliers glowing the entire booth with elegance. We have also wanted to give the public a preview of what is coming next in our product range, the E-series Elegance. It was displayed at one side of the back wall below the “photo booth area” and was also displayed on our last roof panel.
On the Front ZEN tile panel wall, we have installed a sticker that explains the benefits and specifications on our insulation system. A 42-inch Television was also installed on that panel to play videos of our products and especially the ZEN88 promotional video.
We have set up a photo booth area inside the far right corner of the booth so that people could take instantly printed photos holding props of Terreal logo and facebook likes. These photos were printed and framed with a footer template that had the Terreal logo, event title, website, facebook link, and the date of event. It was highly successful as no other booth had such functions that offered free photo souvenirs.
Our visitors entered our booth from 2 sides. The main entrance showed our green custom built piterak slim counter with our sales team and hired models on standby. The 2nd entrance had the photo booth to attract potential customers to take free souvenir photos.
At the main entrance, a visitor will first of all gaze upon the majestic fully tiled wall and our covered roofs. From there, they will walk around with a sales person explaining and handing out goodie bags, ending with a photo session at the photo booth.
The 2nd entrance attracts visitors by offering free souvenir photos. Right after that, a sales person will walk them around the booth, displaying our products and finally handing them a goodie bag.
