Les Mureaux

The Les Mureaux site is located 30 km northwest of Paris. It includes the tile factory with two production lines, the "Cercle" where training courses are given, and administrative offices. The offices house the HR department of the Northern Tiles Division and the administrative management of the personnel attached to Terreal's head office, the sales department as well as the customer service for the North-East and export zone.

Suresnes

Hauts-de-Seine, 92

The head office is located about ten kilometres from the heart of Paris, near La Défense. It brings together some sixty employees from the General Management to the group's functional departments.

Saint-Martin

l'Aude, 11

Built in 1970, the factory was inaugurated by Jacques Chirac, then Minister of Industry. At the time, the factory had the largest firing kiln in Europe, allowing the daily production of 1,000 tons of hollow bricks. In 1990, the factory was completely transformed into a tile factory, specialising in the production of Large Moulded Tiles from the South. Located between Castelnaudary and Saint-Papoul, the Saint-Martin site is part of the Tuiles Sud cluster with those of Ségala and Castelnaudary.

Saint-Papoul

The Saint-Papoul quarry is located in the Aude region, about ten kilometres from Castelnaudary. It is part of the "Carrières du Sud" group, which includes the other quarries of Bordeneuve, Colomiers and Saint-Amans-Soult (Rieussequel) in the South of France, Chagny in Burgundy and Peralada and Pinarejos in Spain. The Saint-Papoul quarries represent the most important site for the extraction of raw materials for 7 factories in France and the La Pera quarry in Spain.

Ségala

Located 10 km from Castelnaudary and 60 km from Toulouse, the Ségala site has three production units. Originally, this post-war factory manufactured lime. Today, the site specialises in the manufacture of interlocking tiles (S3), flat tiles (S5) and associated accessories (S4). Ségala (whose etymology is "land of rye") is part of the Tuiles Sud cluster with the sites of Saint-Martin and Castelnaudary.

Chasseneuil

Charente, 16

Built in 1971, the plant specialises in the manufacture of concrete products in which gravel is replaced by expanded clay. The Chasseneuil site is located 12 km from the Roumazières plant and 45 km from Angoulême. Together with the Roumazières and Montpon sites in the Dordogne, it forms the Centre Region.

Blagnac

Haute-Garonne, 31

Located near Toulouse-Blagnac airport, these offices are home to the Costs and Assets department, Terreal's Payroll department, the Engineering department and the facade and shell-decoration marketing teams.

Lasbordes

L'Aude, 11

Built in 1855, the Lasbordes unit manufactures structural clay products. This factory has the distinction of being one of the only ones in the world to design 2.8 m long monolithic clay pieces. Located between Castelnaudary and Carcassonne, the site has two production units and one processing unit: Lasbordes Haut (LSH) created in 1960, Lasbordes Bas (LSB) created in 1982 and Lasbordes Transfo built in 2000. The Brick Division includes the Lasbordes and Colomiers plants (near Toulouse).

Castelnaudary

The Castelnaudary site, 60 km south-east of Toulouse, has two production units for spun canal tiles: Castel 1 and 2. The C.R.E.D. (Research and Development Centre) is located on the same site, but access is strictly regulated. The Castelnaudary factory is part of the Tuiles Sud cluster with those of Ségala and Saint-Martin.

Lahera

Founded in 1985, LAHERA specialises in the design, manufacture and marketing of roofing products designed to ensure the watertightness and ventilation of singular points of a roof, as well as roof outlets, double-walled flues and connection accessories adapted for all types of heating. Since 2008, the entire solar offer has also been developed. Located a few kilometres from Castres in the Tarn, LAHERA has been a subsidiary of the TERREAL group since November 2006.

Colomiers

The Colomiers site specialises in the production of clay structural bricks and partitions. Located on a 13-hectare site 8 km west of Toulouse, the site has two production lines and houses a large logistics platform as well as sales and marketing teams. Colomiers is an environmentally friendly site: easy supply, raw materials nearby, low energy consumption. Together with the Lasbordes site (Aude), Colomiers forms the Brick Division.

Roumazières

Charente, 16

Built in 1907 in this historic tile-making town, the Roumazières site is the Group's largest. It has 7 manufacturing lines for clay roof tiles and accessories (UT7, UT8, UT9, UT4-1, UT4-2, UD6-1 and UD6-2), a Moulds department, a Maintenance department, a Quality and Control Laboratory department, a raw materials exploitation department and a training centre. The quarries are located 10 km from the factory, from which nearly 500,000 tonnes of clay are extracted each year. The Roumazières site is one of the factories in the Centre Region, along with the Charente sites of Chasseneuil sur Bonnieure and Montpon in the Dordogne.

Rieussequel

Tarn, 81

Located not far from Castres (Tarn), in the heart of the Haut Languedoc regional park, this site specialises in the manufacture of cladding and decoration products. The factory has existed since the end of the 18th century and in 2008 underwent a thorough modernisation of its process. It owes its name to the neighbouring place: Rieussequel. The factory is located along the D612 between Toulouse and Béziers, 12 km from Mazamet in the direction of Béziers. Together with the Revel factory, Rieussequel forms the Façade - Decoration division.

Montpon

Dordogne, 24

The Montpon tile factory is located 150 km south-west of Roumazières and 1 hour from Bordeaux, on the site known as "Le Toupinier" where clay has been transformed for centuries (bricks, tiles, squares). The factory has existed since the end of the 19th century and has developed its know-how in brick-making. Transformed into a tile factory since the 1960s, the Montpon factory specialises in the manufacture of Héritage, Bocage and Périgord flat tiles and their accessories.

CRED

L'Aude, 11

Located in the Castelnaudary tile factory, the CRED has existed since 1973 to meet the group's research and development needs. The CRED is involved in all stages of the development of innovative products: product design, prototyping, manufacturing tests and fine-tuning on the pilot plant, performance characterisation, industrialisation and technical approvals. Today, it handles projects for the entire Terreal group, in terms of research and development of new raw materials, new products, new processes, in close collaboration with the raw materials analysis and research laboratory in Saint-Papoul.

Chagny

Saône-et-Loire, 71

The two units in Chagny are located in a land with a century-old tile-making tradition in the heart of Burgundy. The TERREAL 1 plant (or Chagny I or Chagny Ville) is located in the heart of the town and has existed since 1881. The second factory, TERREAL 2 (or Chagny 2 or Chagny Forêt) was built in 2007 in order to strengthen our position in the northern tile market.

Bavent

Calvados, 14

Located 15 km east of Caen in the canton of Cabourg, the Bavent factory has two production lines. The clay used comes from two quarries, one located on the site and the other in Neuilly-La-Forêt. The Bavent plant, together with the one in Les Mureaux in the Paris region, forms the Pôle Tuiles Nord (PTN).

Italy

TERREAL Italia originates from Noale near Venice and is also present in Tuscany in Castiglion Fiorentino and in Valenza in Piedmont. With its range of moulded facing bricks, marketed under the SanMarco brand, TERREAL Italia is the market leader in Italy with a 26% market share. The subsidiary is also the third largest player in Italy on the clay roof tile market with a range of colours that are very popular in northern and central Italy.

Spain

TERREAL España is based in an industrial site, the La Pera factory, which produces calibric, partitions, bricks and ceilings. TERREAL España also markets tiles, tile accessories and roof components. We also market ranges of French offer structures, caissons and bushels.

Ludowici

Ludowici, which has a long tradition of Italian tile makers, has been in existence since 1888. This subsidiary is located in New Lexington, Ohio, on a source of very high quality clay. The use of this clay, combined with high temperature firing (1150°C), allows the production of tiles of exceptional quality with extremely low water absorption (less than 1%).
