The glazed part, which is 1.20 metres high, respects the anonymity of visitors and ensures that the entrance hall is bathed in reams of natural light. The chosen façade product, Thermoreal-Gebrik, allows for a raw materiality and beneficial result at the same time. Treated in a completely uniform way, including the roof above, the whole construction works like a wraparound second skin.
A second building houses consultation rooms. Designed in a very similar way, the only exception being that the insulation is on the outside rather than the inside. Clay lends itself well to both technical and aesthetic requirements. The ventilation rooms on the first floor form a prow at the front of the building, leading the way to the new reception. The light hue of the white bricks blends in well with the tones of the adjacent buildings. The project did not endeavour to break with the existing context, but to fit into the mineral setting already in place. Both buildings sport Perla 125A0 coloured bricks, delicately contrasting the coarseness of the hand-moulded finish with the smooth appearance of the glass. A building of infinite softness with an imposing presence.
