Diversity, inclusion & equity
To be proud of our company, to be innovative and to perform better, diversity, inclusion and equity are essential. At Terreal, this means raising awareness and supporting inclusion, with a special focus on gender, generations and disability.
Gender diversity
Terreal has been committed for several years to promoting equality and reducing gender inequality in the workplace.
In 2022, the professional equality index between women and men is 87.
Elles bougent
Terreal has signed a partnership with the association "Elles bougent" whose main ambition is to reinforce gender diversity in companies in the industrial and technological sectors.
In order to reinforce the actions, 6 female sponsors are present at the different actions to encourage professional equality between men and women:
Disability
The more we talk about disability, the more we include it!
Terreal's objective is to promote the recruitment, integration and retention of disabled workers. Raising awareness of disability raises awareness of disability and the solutions available, and also facilitates the emergence of profiles in a disabled situation.
Special Olympics
In 2022, Terreal is participating for the 6th time in the Special Olympics race on the Parvis de la Défense.
This year, 12 employees from the Suresnes site will take part in a relay race. This inter-company solidarity race allows people with mental disabilities to experience the joys of sport throughout the year thanks to the annual participation of companies. This initiative was an opportunity for Suresnes employees to share a moment of cohesion.
Congratulations to the 12 runners who each completed 2.5km.
The European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities
Terreal participated for the 5th time in Duoday
DuoDay is a European operation in which France has participated since 2018.
The event took place on Thursday 17 November at 4 sites where 5 pairs were formed - within the accounting, sales administration, sales, IT and management control departments - with one or more Terreal employees and a disabled person.
This event, a vector of inclusion, allowed the trainees for a day to discover Terreal and our professions. It is also an opportunity for the trainees to confirm a professional project that they are considering and for our employees it is often a great opportunity to meet someone!
