TERREAL ambassador for the city of Albi

In 2016, TERREAL became one of the ambassadors of Albi, the Episcopal City. Our company joins a network of players involved in promoting the attractiveness of the Albi area. This partnership illustrates the links we have forged with the city of Albi, particularly through our commitment to the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines d'Albi. Laurent Musy, the group's CEO, was the patron of the school's 2016 class. TERREAL also conducts research projects in partnership with the RAPSODEE laboratory of the Ecole des Mines.

As an ambassador, TERREAL is committed to promoting the entire region and in particular the rich heritage of Albi, a city where red bricks and clay tiles are omnipresent. The episcopal city of Albi has been distinguished twice by UNESCO, in 2010 and in 2015.

Albi is located near several of our brick and tile factories in the Occitanie region. Throughout the city, there are many typical buildings constructed with our products, such as the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines d'Albi-Carmaux, the media library, the Tarn departmental archives and the hospital. TERREAL is therefore pleased to support the attractiveness of the Albigensian region and its cultural, heritage, economic and university assets.

TERREAL plans to carry out several actions to promote Albigensian values. A research and development partnership has been established with the RAPSODEE laboratory to promote sustainable housing. To promote culture and heritage, TERREAL is committed to supporting the next "Art and Matter" biennial event, which will take place in 2018.

A quarry with archaeological excavations

Before operating the new quarry at Amigny, located on a major historical site, TERREAL wanted to work with an archaeologist and the local authorities to develop the quarry.

New GHG report from Terreal France

Terreal sponsors the association Le Printemps de Septembre

In 2021, TERREAL is sponsoring the association "Le Printemps de Septembre" to build an ephemeral brick pavilion at the Institut Supérieur des Arts et Design de Toulouse for the 30th edition of the "Le Printemps de Septembre" festival in Toulouse. With a donation of more than 2,300 bricks, TERREAL wished to support cultural and artistic initiatives as well as to participate in this educational project where specialised students learned how to build the structure. After the event, the bricks were collected by training centres in order to give them a second educational life.
